
This is a delicious and melt in the mouth
kebabs made out of lamb/goat meat and lentils. This is healthy yet simple recipe version of the famous Galauti kebab which can be made easily at home with ingredients available in the kitchen. I like to make these amazing kebabs often. So
lets get on to the recipe.
Have this with a simple chutney as a snack or have these with naan or Roti or a great addition to the meal.

Ingredients
-Lamb/Goat meat boneless - 1/2 kg
-Chana daal -1/2 cup
-Cloves -8
-Peppercorn whole- 10
-Javitri/Mace - 1 inch
-Cinnamon stick -1 inch
-Salt - As per taste
-Onion (roughly chopped)-1
-Ginger - 1 inch
-Green chillies - 2 (optional)
-Oil - 2 tablespoon (for shallow frying)
-Egg-1
Step 1 - Prep Kebab
1. In a pressure cooker add washed meat,chana daal,peppercorn,cloves, mace,cinnamon,salt and 1cup water.
2.Cook until 3-4 whistle or 10min (Make sure lentils are not overcooked)
3.Strain the water and let it cool down (remove cinnamon stick)
4.Add onion,ginger and green chillies and grind in food processor or mixer grinder until smooth dough like texture (small batches are easier to grind)
Step 2 - Pan to plate
1. Add egg to the above dough and mix well
*If the dough is not thick ,you can add some besan or cornflour to get the consistency
2. Make round medium size patties
In a pan (preferred non stick) , add oil and shallow fry in low to medium flame
Serve hot !!
